The EACC's Austrian-Swiss-German Committee will host an "Doing Business In German-Speaking Europe" event on March 2. The goal is to share the experience of our members in how to make the best first impression (and avoid embarrassing faux pas) when doing business with the German-speaking regions of Europe.
Who should attend: Companies considering business opportunities in German-speaking countries; employees dealing with German-speaking customers/suppliers; and new staff at German/Swiss/Austrian subsidiaries in the Cincinnati Tri-State region.
Topics include: An overview of cultural context in German speaking countries and their different business cultures, followed by an in depth and interactive discussion about Germanic business culture and etiquette (including regional differences); and an introduction to entertainment/social etiquette and guidelines.
Space is limited. Registration will close once event has reached capacity.
After the event, attendees are encouraged to join members of the EACC's Austrian-Swiss-German Committee at the monthly Stammtisch at Moerlein Lager House (5:30-7:30 p.m.) for business networking.
