We promote our region's location to European and other manufacturers (a day's drive or a 90 minute flight from half of the US population) as a driver for investment, but are small and medium sized manufacturers taking full advantage of the air, rail, road, and waterborne transportation options available to expand productivity, enhance profitability, and improve customer satisfaction? 

Following a keynote address by Brandy Christian, President and CEO of the Port of New Orleans, on the intricate relationship between manufacturing and logistics, a panel of local manufacturers and representatives of transportation providers will explore novel solutions to perennial cargo shipping challenges.
