The History of "Beaujolais"
The EACC hosts Beaujolais + More every year on the 3rd Thursday of November, to celebrate the annual global tradition that marks the release of Beaujolais Nouveau - the first wine of the year's grape harvest from the Beaujolais region of France.  This unique wine is fermented, bottled and released only weeks after the harvest, with the emphasis on fresh fruit and immediate drinking.

Release Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026, at midnight.

Vintage Profile: Following an unusually hot, dry summer with drought and hail, the 2026 harvest is smaller (reduced by over 60%). Producers expect a darker, richer, and more concentrated style than typical years, with deep blackberry and blackcurrant flavors, higher acidity, and a bit more tannin.
